2016 Grain Valley Invitational

In typical Smithville fashion, October is proving to be a time of personal records and increased speed. From top to bottom, the girls swept the competition at Grain Valley. The middle school, junior varsity, and varsity girls teams took first place against tough competition. The boys barely missed a top two finish at both varsity and JV, placing 3rd in both. The varsity boys finished almost a minute faster than they did over a little over a month ago at Maryville, and Mark Krueger had a breakthrough performance, setting a PR of 17:41.
